The next meetup of Vermont Doll Lovers will be Saturday, December 12th, 1-4 PM, in the Koolvord Room of the Brownell Library in Essex Jct. It's our annual Christmas/end-of-the-year meetup, so seasonal props, accessories, and costumes for your dolls are encouraged! Brownell Library has free parking and easy access to the CCTA #2 Essex Junction bus. If you are coming from the Burlington area and need a ride, please get in touch with me. I may be able to provide a carpool. As always, VTDL welcomes all kinds of doll lovers and all kinds of dolls. No age limit, no doll restrictions. Great news for Vermont doll enthusiasts! To meet popular demand, I have changed the VTDL meetup schedule from every other month to monthly! Yes! We're now meeting 12 times a year, instead of 6 or so! Hopefully more frequent meetups will draw greater numbers. We can also keep our enthusiasm going more easily from month to month. To that end, we have our upcoming Halloween meetup on October 24th, and I have also scheduled meetups for November 14th and December 12th, both from 1-4 PM in the Koolvord Room. More reminders to follow closer to the events.

10/2/2015 EDIT: Meetup was originally scheduled for 10/17, but has been moved to 10/24. Dress your dolls in spooky finery! Let the vampires and ghosts out of their coffins! Bring the plastic spiders, candy corn, and jack-o'-lanterns! Have fun at Vermont Doll Lovers' Halloween themed doll meetup on Saturday, October 24th, 1-4 PM, in the Koolvord Room of the Brownell Library, Essex Jct., VT. Seasonal props, costumes, and accessories are encouraged, but not required. VTDL welcomes all kinds of doll enthusiasts and all kinds of dolls. Besides regulars vermont chick, Lyrajean, Melface,  Nerdy Victorian, and me [Modern Wizard], Eris and A. showed up with many of Eris' in-progress projects [which explains the number of naked, hairless, paintless dolls]. Dolls arrived decked out in vernal finery, with a sprinkling of green and shamrocks for St. Patrick's Day. Our March get-together will occur just days before St. Patrick's Day, so seasonally appropriate outfits, accessories, decorations, props, sets, etc., for your dolls.
