Vermont Doll Lovers meetup, 07/15/2017

Total attendees = 5. Really late in getting these photos up, but here are some of the July meetup. There was a last-minute location switch to a place with really bad lighting, so not many of my photos came out. The few that did are below. Click to enlarge.

Vermont Doll Lovers Valentine's meetup and swap/sale/get rid of it event, 02/13/2016

Total attendees = 6. Regulars Lyrajean, Melface, and Nerdy Victorian came to this Saturday's meetup, along with two newcomers, astraldoll7 [all the way from New York!] and Bittersweet Blue [all the way from southern Vermont!], each of whom had trekked over 2 hours to meet fellow doll lovers. Of course I was there too, with my usual complement of Valentine's props. Though I billed the meet as one with a Valentine's theme, we all paid much more attention to the swap/sale/get rid of it event going on concurrently. We spread wares across two tables: clothing and wigs that Lyrajean and I wanted to offload, furniture from Nerdy Victorian, and dolls and doll parts from Melface, astraldoll7, and Bittersweet Blue. While no large ticket items [i.e., dolls] exchanged hands, attendees did trade, sell, and/or give away smaller items. I -- and everyone else -- seemed to really enjoy seeing what others had to get rid of, especially as some items had never shown up at meets before. Thus ...

Chittenden County Vermont Doll Club Valentine's meetup: 02/09/2014

Total attendees = 10. Saturday's Valentine's meetup of Chittenden County Doll Club attracted a total of eight doll enthusiasts, as well as at least two hangers-on who did not come with dolls. In any event, the turnout represents the most populous meetup of CCDC ever, not only in terms of people, but in terms of dolls [somewhere north of 25]. Onto the pictures! vermont chick has pictures on her blog.

Chittenden County Vermont Doll Club meetup: 01/11/2014

Total attendees = 4. The first meetup of 2014 saw me, Lyrajean, goldi and vermont chick braving the torrential downpours to converge upon the Koolvord Room in Brownell Library, Essex Junction, VT because we are hardcore devotees who must have our regular dolly fix. :D vermont chick's photos appear on her blog.

Chittenden County Doll Club, 05/18/13

Total attendees = 5. Doll club time arrived again at last yesterday afternoon, with me, vermont chick, goldi, Lyrajean and Megan attending. 5 whole people! Not to mention all the small populations... vermont chick has photos too on her blog.

Chittenden County Doll Club: 10/20/12

Total attendees = 3. It was the proud, the free and the few at doll club this Saturday [usual place, usual time]. I attended, of course, along with vermont chick and Lyrajean. vermont chick has photos on her blog too.

Chittenden County Doll Club: 01/14/12

Total attendees = 2. vermont chick and I met in the Koolvord Room of Brownell Library, Essex Junction, yesterday. She brought her new Iplehouse Barahan, and I brought Sardonix [Cerebrus Project Juri '06 on modded Shinydoll Thaasa body] and Noodge [Fairyland RealPuki Soso]. I took 200 pictures [primarily because my hands were shaking], mostly of her Barahan, since he is so handsome, with his serene smirk. Below, pictures of Barahan, Sardonix and Noodge. vermont chick has pictures on her blog too.

Chittenden County Doll Club: 08/13/11

Total attendees = 2. I met vermont chick, Lorraine, at Tiny Thai in Essex Center to talk dolls and show ours off. The first Vermont meetup that I organized was a success. We enjoyed lunch and then took pictures of our dolls in a nearby gazebo and on a butterfly-shaped bench. vermont chick's photos of the event appear on her blog.
