Vermont Doll Lovers Halloween meetup, 10/24/2015

Total attendees = 7. A plethora of pumpkins and other Halloweeny props gave everyone's dolls lots of fun photo ops at yesterday's meetup.

Check out vermont chick's photos on her blog.

DragonGems' dolls:

Russell, least enthusiastic King of Pumpkins ever.

DragonGems made this doll entirely from scratch, including the wig, eyes, and glasses.

Lucy, another handmade OOAK BJD, is a pretty pretty princess dammit! Holding court in front of my Halloween tree.

Eris' and A.'s dolls:
Resinsoul Long would like you to look over there, not at his nakedness, please.

Resinsoul Mai [left] and Xu [right] show off their "modesty leaves," generously provided by a tree on library grounds.

Hujoo Mini Freya wakes up from the dead.

A.'s Hujoo Mini Freya, with eyes by Eris, raves out in a cauldron.

Mattel Monster High Mistress Bloodgood is the headless headmistress!

Monster High Create a Monster does art without any clothes on. A misunderstanding of the term "nude modeling," mayhap?

Monster High Bonita Skellington.

Monster High Porter Geiss.

Monster High Ava Trotter is fabulous and knows it.

Monster High Gooliope Jellington is 28" [?] high and double-jointed, all the better for striking dramatic poses.

vermont chick's dolls:
Dollmore Dollpire Shiloh clearly needs a hit of A poz so he can wake up.

Iplehouse KID Lisa is really hard to photo because of her dark outfit.

Raccoon Doll Sara, who appears behind KID Lisa, is sculpted by an artist who used to work for Iplehouse.

Fairyland Feeple 60 Siean boy [left] and Fairyland Feeple 60 Moe Mirwen [right] dress up as Hogwarts wizard school students.

Aileendoll Lapis makes good use of an articulated jaw. Nom! Nom! Nom!

Fairyland RealPukis [from left] Pupu, Kaka, and Soso form an adorable trio of mummies.

Just in case you can't get enough of the cuteness, Fairyland Soso also comes in LittleFee size!

Melface's dolls:
Alchemic Lab L-bi is a fashionable witch.

Dream High Hiro [left] senses something amiss while trick-or-treating with Fairyland LittleFee Lewi. "There's something on my head, isn't there?"

Costume is from one of the bigger Lalaloopsy dolls.

Another Alchemic Lab Unoa L-bi in "monster skin," which apparently means "limited edition yellowish brown that was sold much cheaper than the standard shades."

Dollpamm Bebe Poyo equals the Fairyland Pukis in cuteness and articulation.

Dollzone Freddy 2 has horns. Also angst. Lots of angst.

Dollzone Raphael.

Shannon's doll:
Doll Chateau Bella is in pieces, undergoing extensive renovations.

My dolls:
Polly, an Elfdoll Kathlen asleep head on an Asleep Eidolon 1:6 scale mature mermaid body, shows off new faceup, wig, and dress [made by me].

Jujube, Elfdoll tiny Winky, gets into everything.

Not dead yet!

Thalia, an Immortality of Soul Infernale head on Angelsdoll massive girl body, displays seasonally appropriate paint job, plus tacky necklace!

Pumpkin infestation...

"There's something on my head, isn't there?..."

Sardonix, a Cerebrus Project Juri 2006 head on modded ShinyDoll Thaasa body, sees how much Halloween crap she can hold.

"Dang it...There's something on my head, isn't there?!"

Comments

  1. I need stronger glasses--I didn't even see Winky among your dolls Saturday.

    Very nice close-ups, as usual!
