Vermont Doll Lovers' next meetup occurs December 17th, 1-4 PM, in the Koolvord Room of the Brownell Library in Essex Jct. We are having a FEAST for our dolls, so bring all your food and drink props! Please note that this is the THIRD Saturday of the month, not the second, as customary. Brownell Library has free parking, accommodations for people with mobility impairments, and easy access to the CCTA #2 Essex Junction bus. If you are coming from the Burlington area and need a ride, please get in touch with me. I may be able to provide a carpool. As always, VTDL welcomes all kinds of doll lovers and all kinds of dolls. Total attendees = 6. Lyrajean, vermont chick, Bittersweet Blue, Melface, and Shannon showed up today for our meet. The steampunk theme was mostly my ploy to get Bittersweet Blue to bring back her 1:4 scale telescope. Top hats, brass, ruffles, and other vaguely steampunky accoutrements also appeared on others' dolls. I have realized that we always have much more fun with a variety of props.
